The end of 2013 was busy for ABLV Charitable Foundation not only because it was busy organising its now traditional charitable campaign “Let’s Help Children!”, but also due to the launch of its new visual identity – a new, bright and stable brand has been created for the Foundation.
The end of 2013 was busy for ABLV Charitable Foundation not only because it was busy organising its now traditional charitable campaign “Let’s Help Children!”, but also due to the launch of its new visual identity – a new, bright and stable brand has been created for the Foundation. The advertising agency “Guilty” was commissioned to devise the new brand.
One of the new brand’s elements – the graphic part of the logo is made up of the stylised letters ABLV, which are depicted in bright and positive colours: ruby red, amber orange and sapphire blue. Each of the colours in the Foundation’s logo symbolises one of the areas represented by ABLV Charitable Foundation:
- orange represents charitable projects in the social realm;
- red is related to contemporary art;
- blue applies to education projects;
- grey-brown – to urban environmental projects.
In accordance with its new visual identity, a new homepage was created for the Foundation with a new domain: www.ablv.org. On the homepage, all information is arranged conveniently and clearly so that any donor or donation recipient can find the information they require. The homepage has been created in line with contemporary requirements – it also adapts to mobile device screens.
ABLV Charitable Foundation’s operating goal has remained unchanged – to encourage the responsibility of business and society as a whole towards fellow citizens and the environment. The Foundation supports creative people and outstanding organisations that invest their efforts and knowledge in achieving goals of importance to society as a whole, creating a strong Latvian state, and a united and abundant society.
ABLV Charitable Foundation was founded in 2006 by ABLV Bank shareholders Ernests Bernis and Oļegs Fiļs, in order to put their core values into practice in real life and support the responsibility of entrepreneurs towards society and the environment. The Foundation functions as ABLV Bank’s main partner in realm of charitable activity, supporting creative people and outstanding organisations that invest their efforts and knowledge, in order to achieve universally important goals – to create a united, abundant and safe society. In particular, the Foundation focuses its attention on contemporary art, children and adolescents, and the development of education and civic society. In past years, the Foundation has supported more than 200 projects, awarding financing to them in the amount of EUR 1,000,000.
