ABLV Charitable Foundation has announced its annual competition for the awarding of co-financing for organising contemporary art exhibitions and events from 15 February 2014 to 31 December 2015. This year, it will be possible to submit applications in two stages: from 3-20 January for projects due to take place in 2014 and/or 2015, and from 13-27 October for projects due to take place in 2015.
Within the parameters of the grant programme, the amount of financing available is EUR 50,000 for two years. Up to EUR 10,000 will be awarded to any one project and up to 75% of the project’s total costs. The deadline for the submission of applications for the first stage is 20 January 2014 (until 23.59).
We welcome grant applications from any organisation or foundation, local council or municipal institution, or council-established agency, whose operations are not connected to making profits, or from any state institution or state agency whose operations are not connected to making profits.
“In supporting national contemporary art events of public importance in Latvia, this year we plan to increase the maximum available financing. In order that curators and project managers can plan their events in good time, this year we will organise two project application submission stages,” notes Board Chair Zanda Zilgalve.
